The Role

Reporting to the Head of Inside Sales, this role will lead a group of phone-based corporate Account Executives who are responsible for a portfolio of SME clients. To be successful you have demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational management and a passion for coaching and mentoring. 
  
The day to day of our Sales Manager - looks something like this...
  • Inspire the team to perform well through effective storytelling
  • Foster a strong, collaborative & inclusive team culture
  • Encourage ownership of customer insights (Voice of customer)
  • Implement & monitor key performance indicators
  • Monitor performance to budget progress for Account Executives
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the performance of individuals and the team and implement relevant strategies
  • Analyse and interpret key reports on individual and team performance
  • Participate in the budgeting and commission payment process
  • Adopt and drive implementation of sales methodology across the Account Executives
  • Identify gaps in sales and service skills and product knowledge and drive capability through development sessions.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, Stand-Up meetings and end of week ‘de-briefs’
  • Foster a culture of ‘striving’ and continuous improvement
So, is there a match? You will
  • Be an experienced Sales leader ideally in B2B
  • Prior experience in managing and developing sales and/or service teams, including the ability to tackle tough issues, drive continuous improvements and effectively managing change in fast paced environment.
  • Have proven track record of sales excellence including setting territories and commission plans
  • Have a passion for coaching and mentoring
  • Business degree or equivalent qualification desirable.
