Looking for an Internal Account Manager to use their seasoned Relationship and Retention Management skills to build and develop existing business relationships in a fast-paced Logistics and Distribution business based in Western Sydney!

Client Details

Our client is a nationally recognised Transport and Distribution company looking for an Account Manager to join their internal team. Currently looking for a new member of staff in their Western Sydney Branch, they hold a clear presence in the market and as such are expected to maintain and retain a high level of service. This role plays an important part in ensuring that existing clients have a direct point of contact for any enquiries they may have.

Description

The right candidate will be able to grow and assume initiative in their role as an Account Manager and are required to do the following:

• Expediting sales order and quotes to maximize sales performance
• Competent SAP system usage with basic experience in utilizing reporting functions
• Manage and resolve customer complaints and enquiries as and when requested by Key stakeholders both externally and internally
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand and support business and customer requirements
• Manage and Maintain a portfolio of 300-350 customers over the phone following a 3 month cycle
• Owning, Retaining and Growing your prospective accounts through regular follow up and communication

Profile

Successful candidates will have experience in an Account Management or Internal Sales role with a focus on sales growth and relationship management as well sales retention. Such individuals require the following:

  • Proactively manage and up-skill staff with a focus on providing the best service possible
  • Strong computer system capabilities particularly through Microsoft Platforms with a preferred proficiency in SAP and CRM Systems
  • Strong Negotiation and problem solving capabilities

  • Highly motivated and results focused.

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to turn around customer issue quickly and efficiently
