The Role
An exciting new opportunity exists in our dynamic Sales team as a National Account Manager – Independents. The role is based at our Head Office site which is located at Berkeley Vale Central Coast. It is an exciting role with the focus to grow our business and to develop our Online interactions. Core responsibilities in the role include:

  • Implement Sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Develop, implement and achieve annual revenue, category and operating targets
  • Drive and implement Retailer sponsored business plans
  • Develop and manage trade relationships at Category Manager and Banner level
  • Support and input to the accurate forecasting of the Demand Planning process
  • Maintain a strong working relationships with the Field Sales Team
  • Manage Trade Spend to budget
  • Establish a sustainable strategy for Online growth

The person
The successful candidate will be a part of an energetic and values driven team who are customer obsessed and committed to delivering exceptional sales results. Strong business development, negotiation and relationship building skills are critical for success in the role. We are looking for a ‘Go getter’ with initiative, a commercial mind and the ability to adapt and respond quickly to an ever changing and challenging environment.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Sales roles inclusive of in Brand, Account, Online or Category Management roles
  • Proven knowledge of strategic retail category plan development and successful implementation experience
  • Tertiary Education in Sales, Marketing and/or Finance is desirable
  • FMCG and Independent Grocery market experience is highly advantageous

The selection process will include interviews, online and functional testing as well as internal reference checking.
