Mechanical Engineer
Vesta Group is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who is passionate, driven and ambitious whilst delivering high quality service. If you are an experienced individual with proven record, you can be the best fit for this role. You will will be part of a talented team working together to grow the business.
Vesta Group is a leading provider of HVAC services and products across Victoria and Tasmania. Through the network of a highly successful and long-established companies Evapco, Danfoss and Dunham Bush we cater for a comprehensive range of products, including equipment such as chillers, cooling towers and VSDs which are installed and in operation across the country.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities
The purpose of the position is to prospect for new business growth as well as manage existing accounts.
- Establish a thorough understanding of customers business needs
- Plan & present tailored solutions based on customers’ needs
- Prospect for new customers and convert this to increased business
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of the market & product solutions we can provide
- Collaboratively engage with internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Prepare quotes & tenders in line with our pricing policy
- Participate in setting annual sales budgets
- Achieve budgeted sales targets and GP margins
- Maintaining/updating CRM System and Reporting on Company Sales Results
- You are a self-motivated and collaborative team player, with a customer centric focus and the ability to build rapport with our customers.
- Grow & retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions to customers
- Establish & build solid relationships with all customers
Key selection criteria
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- Strong sales and negotiating skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with team mates and clients
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Be a team player
- Knowledge of Air conditioning systems is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work to timelines and manage multiple and competing priorities
- High attention to detail and solid organisation skills
- Current and valid motor vehicle license
- Ability to visit the sites and flexibility to travel if required
