National Technical Sales Manager/Engineer – Test & Measurement Equipment and System Turnkey Solutions
Faraday Pty Ltd is a specialist electromagnetic shielding company, providing design, installation, and testing of EMI shielding systems for MRI, hospital, commercial, industrial, and defence EMI requirements across Australia.
Whilst based in Boronia, regular local and interstate travel will also be required. This role has a focus upon driving new business, negotiating contracts and closing sales. This is a very hands on role with direct client contact.
Reporting to the Managing Director key responsibilities will include:
- Building and growing the test & measurement product range
- Meeting annual sales targets
- Promoting company and products existing and prospective customers via varied communication channels
- Fostering long-term relationship with all customers by continually providing professional customer service
- Standard account management such as customer support and training, product demonstration.
- Providing assistance with appropriate marketing materials & attendance at trade shows
- Managing the tender process and all sales enquiries
- Working closely with the Chief Estimator and Senior leaders to ensure accurate job scoping and project estimation
- Managing the handover with the project managers & logistic team.
The successful candidate will be a switched-on individual who has previous sales experience with a proven track record of growth.
You will also possess:
- Experience within the test equipment / RF industry, although a background in engineering, medical or construction would also be considered
- Strong technical background with the ability to interpret drawings & other technical data
- Degree or Diploma qualification in an appropriate technical or business-related discipline
- Display a natural, relaxed selling style focused upon fostering long term business relationships
- Strong presentation and influencing skills
- Outstanding communication skills, customer service etiquette and rapport building skills
- Exceptional time management skills and a strong attention to detail
- Intermediate / advanced MS Office skills
- A multi tasker, able to work with initiative, autonomously and as part of a small team.
- A current driver's license
