An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Business Development Manager within a large multi-national player in the remedial concreting space, within their facades division

Client Details

My client is a multinational leader in the concrete pre-stressing, post-tensioning and remediation space. With operations spanning the globe and a passionate dedicated team they offer integrated technical solutions in specialist civil construction and structural repair.

Description

The Business Development Manager role will be focused on driving new revenue across the remedial space, with a particular focus on facades. From a client perspective the BDM will be focusing on utility companies, government bodies, the resource sector and tier 1 civil contracting businesses. Some of the core responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Leveraging networks within the target markets to generate tenders for major remedial works.

  • Presenting to stakeholders within target client organisations to educate them on products and services.

  • Development of an annual market and business development plan.

  • Setting of clear frameworks and milestones with the Estimator team for all tenders to ensure a smooth tender submission process.

  • Compilation and submission of tender volume to meet KPI’s

Profile

This role is a senior position within the sales team and entails significant budget responsibility, therefore whilst my client is open to background the successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of sales within the construction materials space. Some of the core characteristics my client will be focused on are as follows:

  • Strong experience in technical sales within the construction sector.

  • Willingness to have a hands on approach and interact with multiple levels of stakeholder- comfortable in a boardroom or on a construction site.

  • Strong proven presentation ability

  • Extensive network of contacts within the target market and ability to ‘hit the ground running’.

  • Track record of advancement and ambitious about career progression
