Local Area Marketing Professional – NSW/ACT
We are looking for a creative and results-driven sales and marketing professional to identify and capture sales opportunities within the local area of franchises situated across metro NSW and ACT.
Working as part of a national team, this area role is focused on developing our franchise capabilities and results in customer service and sales. An ability to bring out the best in peopleand build commitment to the brand objectives are essential.
Looksmart Alterations is an international franchise operation with around 120 stores across Australia and New Zealand, and leads the market in clothing alterations and making fashion fit people. Key responsibilities include:
• Identifying and developing local area marketing opportunities to bring new customers into stores, increase average spend and increase return visits
• Implementing and evaluating local area marketing campaigns and activities
• Building relationships in B2B and B2C markets
• Developing and managing sales pipeline from leads to conversion
• Developing collaborative relationships with franchisees
• Ensuring franchisees and their staff are skilled in sales, increasing average spend and providing value
• Providing coaching and problem solving support to franchisees
• Providing local area marketing support to the National Marketing Manager
• Championing happiness and growth for Looksmart stakeholders across NSW & ACT
Activities include:
• Onsite visits and communications with around 20Looksmart stores across NSW & ACT
• Design, implementation and evaluation of marketing activity in stores, shopping centres and local communities
• Development and expansion of customer base for franchisees
• Recruitment of retail and corporate customers, including schools and clubs
• Strategic management of database targeting active, at risk and lost customers
• Coaching and training of instore customer service personnel in sales techniques.
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in local area marketing/ regional sales roles targeting retail, community and corporate customers
• Qualification in marketing, business or similar
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work strategically and collaboratively with franchisees and business clients
• Coaching skills
• Subtle yet assertive selling skills
• An enthusiastic, can do attitude
• Alignment with our core values
• Experience in the fashion industry also considered favourably.
This is a field role that reports to the Marketing Manager and Founder and is supported by the marketing team. Total Package of $95,000 (plus bonuses). Package includes super and car allowance for use of your vehicle. A phone and Surface Pro Tablet will also be provided.
