Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, up-grade and decommissioning of a broad range of specialised and emergency vehicles. They have an enviable reputation for innovation, integrity and outstanding quality.

They have this exciting new opportunity for a National Sales Manager to join their professional/ friendly close-knit team.

Based in Brisbane, you will actively be promoting their products & services to new and existing customers. This role will involve interstate travel and the occasionally overseas trip.

Responsibilities in this position will include:

  • The implementation of sales strategies
  • Meeting of KPI’s
  • Working closely with other Managers and Team leaders to plan and manage ongoing projects
  • Monitoring and control of the sales performance in accordance with the budgets
  • Assisting with internal sales when required
  • Assisting with Marketing strategies
  • Liaising with Management and suppliers to ensure product knowledge is at the required level
  • Adhering to company QA procedures
  • Tendering
  • Representation of the company at industry associations and outside committees

To be considered for this position:

  • A proven track record in sales (5+ years in the same or similar industry)
  • The ability to manage existing clients and develop new client relationships
  • Experience in tendering
  • Able to meet or exceed KPI’s
  • Well organised, the ability to be able to prioritise
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (such as CRM systems and Office)
  • Current drivers license
  • Must be willing to undergo a national police check
