About the Opportunity
As a member of the People & Culture team, you will provide advice on a range of people and culture topics to the business unit(s) you support. This role will allow you to focus on individual cases, assist with small projects and support the P&C Business Partners (BPs) in larger change management projects. You will be engaged to support one or more business units directly and work in a matrix with the P&C BP for the business unit(s) you support and the Head of P&C Business Partners. You will also be responsible for providing a broad range of support and advice to managers.
About You
You are generalist human resources professional with proven experience in successfully owning and managing cases through appropriate P&C processes (Performance, Conduct, Grievance, Bullying and Harassment). You understand and can apply relevant employment legislation and support various people projects with a continuous improvement approach.
You will also have experience in the following:
- A tertiary qualification and relevant P&C generalist experience
- Continuous improvement mindset and approach to managing projects & processes
- Good written and verbal English skills to articulate technical issues associated to work area
- Good interpersonal skills and ability engage and influence managers
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work with an agile mindset and can manage with ambiguity
- Ability to take initiative, be committed and deliver results
- Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage own time and deliver to agreed deadlines
- Experienced in working with an HRIS: Workday
