InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and a luxury resort in Far North Queensland are currently building a focused team to build and deliver a truly exceptional and unique luxury experience. We currently have an opportunity for a Cluster Director of Human Resources to join the leadership team on this exciting journey.

As the Cluster Director of Human Resources you will lead the HR function at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove and for a leading luxury resort in Far North Queensland as well as leading the project management of the New Hotel Opening Human Resource Plan. Post opening this role will lead and manage the new luxury resort's people strategy and its delivery through the on island HR team. Working in partnership with the Cluster General Manager based at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove and with the Resort General Manager this is the lead HRBP role and is responsible for the overall operation of the HR function across both properties.
The ideal candidate will have experience both in hospitality and working in a large complex hotel. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business strategy and also have the ability to provide structure, governance and process to the human resources function. You will be a change agent with the ability to work along side a team, collaborate with key stakeholders with a sense of urgency. Strategic thinking and the ability to explore new ways of working and be open minded on how we can drive process forward will highly advantageous.
