The Role:
A part of the Fircroft Group, One Key Resources is a specialist provider of Managed Workforce and Labour Hire solutions to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.

We are currently recruiting for a IR/ER & Compliance Manager to review, bolster and implement an Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Business Compliance program that enables the effective management of those functions across our internal and external workforces; and aids in the clear, concise and deliberate communications of those ideals to all relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver strategic operational plans and overall business practices in order to meet client needs and expectations in a timely and commercially astute fashion
• Ensure industry best practice safety methodology and exceptional customer service level.
• Maintaining an absolute focus on quality, customer service, safety and business acumen.
• Support Resources team in total to plan, schedule and execute recruitment and workforce management campaigns.
• Work closely on all ER & IR matters.
• Set up and renegotiation of Enterprise Agreements
• Drafting responses to adverse action, unfair dismissal and other FWC claims
• Act in the interest of the business in any workplace dispute resolution matters
• Act as key liaison point for any Unions or Industrial bodies
• Provides guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors and employees regarding all HR, ER & IR matters
• Quickly and effectively responding to any issues, incidents, questions or complaints.
• Mentoring and developing our internal resources to an industry best standard
• Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) Policies and Procedures
• Assist in the development and review of business wide policies and procedures
• Attend and provide guidance and support to Managers and Team Leaders with regards to internal staff performance reviews, grievance, equal opportunity and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain oversight of employment contract templates and induction handbooks
• Maintain awareness of proposed changes to relevant laws, practices or regulations
• Revise and reinvigorate the Key Connect/Candidate Care program.

Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated strategic planning and operational delivery skills within the recruitment and labour hire industry.
• Strong business acumen to understand business objectives.
• Ability to manage various priorities.
• Ability to work within strict requirements for all legislative bodies within our industry
• Foundational knowledge base and demonstrated experience working within the HR, ER & IR frameworks across the full scope of HR Services at both an operational and strategic level.
• Ability to complete required reporting or acquire skills to complete required reporting.
• Exceptional organisational skills and abilities.

• Strong eye for detail.
• Leadership qualities.
• Advanced written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
