About the role:

Reporting to our Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS), we are looking for a Resourcing Coordinator to join our HR team. Based in Sydney and working 2-3 days/week, you will have responsibility for assisting the TAS with recruitment activities and general administrative overflow from the HR team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with administrative recruitment tasks including:
    • Reference checks
    • Short listing candidates
    • Scheduling interviews
    • Partaking in, and potentially running, some shared services and junior fee earner interviews
    • Posting and closing job advertisements through cvMail and Seek
    • Coordinating the internal National Recruitment Update
  • Corporate credit card reconciliation for the TAS
  • Assisting with generalist HR duties from the HR team as required
  • This is a newly created casual position with the opportunity to become permanent

The successful candidate:

You will be supported in this close knit team, given training, mentoring and guidance from your peers and leader. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable in this dynamic environment. Ideal background and skills include:

  • Currently studying a degree in Human Resources
  • Approximately 6 months experience in a recruitment or HR generalist position (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, organisational and general administrative skills
  • The passion and attitude to work in a fast paced professional services environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with staff members
  • Ability to service internal clients and produce high quality outcomes
