The Company
This impressive hospitality facility is looking for a professional HR Manager to join their small but dynamic team. Ideally located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, with parking on site, you will work hand in hand with the Executive Team to contribute to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

The Role
You will be required to help build HR processes & systems to support employee engagement, recruitment, training & development, and organisational structure.
Provide advice regarding all aspects of disciplinary and performance management
Oversee and assist in the management of worker’s compensation claims and RTW matters
You will be an active member of the WHS Committee
Negotiate, and implement EBA’s and ensure continual compliance
Key areas also include staffing, retention, succession planning, remuneration and benefits. You will also analyse the current structure and available resources to make recommendations for positive change.
You will provide strategic and operational advice, drive cultural initiatives and change, and support them to deliver effective people practices.

Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in a HR Manager role, preferably in the hospitality sector for a full understanding of current trends, EBAs and Fair Work practices
You will have tertiary qualification in a HR related discipline, but more importantly a passion and energy for HR. You will have outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work with people on all levels in the business. A proven background in managing an organisation with multiple shifts is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of the Fairwork Act, Australian Workplace Law and relevant Awards - a minimum of 3 years Australian HR experience is required.
