Michael Page are currently partnering with a privately-owned national homeware retailer as they expand their core business team in line with substantial company growth. With 60 outlets across Australia and New Zealand, they are well-placed to continue this trajectory with further plans for growth and improvement.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Store Operations, this newly created role holds a clear vision to enable, influence, inspire and motivate store operational success through practical and innovative delivery of Human Resource Management.

Scope of responsibilities include: HR Operations, HR policy creation, talent management & acquisition, performance management employee relations with a focus on people, culture and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations, employee relations & management of employee lifecycle
  • Talent Management (Group recruitment strategy & succession planning)
  • Performance coaching & development behavioral frameworks (Senior management)
  • HR Policies, Strategy & Procedures (Creation and implementation)

Profile

  • Tertiary Qualifications in HR or related discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years Generalist HR experience
  • Solid understanding of Australian Employment Legislation
  • Prior experience in retail or a similar multi-site business environment is preferred
  • Strong confident communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
  • Strong positive attitude and strong work ethic
