About the opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced L&D Consultant join our team. You will be responsible for designing creative training and coaching solutions to meet specific business requirements and priorities. You will maintain new and existing learning resources for employees; ensure training content and delivery style is appropriate to learners level of understanding as well as reviewing all e learning modules and designing sustainable solutions and rollout across business units nationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and administer training and development programmes, processes, systems and procedures to support talent development
  • Provide onsite support for training workshops including but not limited to room setup, meet stakeholders, print training materials, manage training material inventory
  • Review and standardise training courseware and ensure integrity of training materials used across the business
  • Support organisational planning, talent succession and performance cycle process by undertaking of key activities
  • Provide support to business wide L&D projects and initiatives that will further develop internal capability

    Your skills and experience

    With a background in a Training, HR or Learning & Development, the successful candidate will be outcome-focused with a high level of personal accountability and drive. Candidates must have a solid understanding of a Learning Management System including maintaining and updating training materials. They must be able to work in both a highly administrative and coordination capacity, as well as taking ownership for broader training and project deliverables.

    Candidates must have:

  • Experience with a Learning Management System
  • Strong SCORM experience and ideally xAPI
  • Sound experience using eLearning Development tools (eg Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Illustrator) to design and develop eLearning content
  • Client focus
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Additional qualifications in training and development / adult education is desirable but not essential
