The Organisation
Nyamba Buru Yawuru (NBY) means "This is the place of Yawuru". NBY Ltd manages the day to day business of the Yawuru Native Title Holders and is engaged in a diverse range of projects which help to provide social, cultural, environmental and financial sustainability for the future of Yawuru people.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO & COO the Manager - Human Resources and Organisational Development leads, builds, delivers and maintains sustainable people practices across the organisation and provides expert advice and support on all people related initiatives.
The Person
This role will require you to:
- Provide specialist HR guidance and support to the Executive team
- Manage and oversee HR policies and practices throughout the organisation
- Deliver and monitor essential HR functions
- Build and sustain an organisational culture in alignment with NBY’s values
- Manage NBY’s Workplace Health & Safety System
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR Management, Industrial Relations or similar
- Experience in a senior generalist HR role with demonstrated awareness of contemporary and relevant trends, issues, legislation and requirements
- High levels of interpersonal skills to engage, negotiate and mediate with stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal skills, with experience in high level HR documentation
