An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our national HR team based at our modern facility in Welshpool, Perth on a full time basis. As the key HR representative based in the West, this crucial role requires an individual who will proactively drive HR requirements forward through engagement, value add advice and support.

 

Role responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of the business, its current and future business requirements.
  • Use insights and data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Build credible and effective working relationships with management teams through effective collaboration, coaching, challenging and communicating.
  • Contribute to the people plan(s) and build the capability of leaders and managers to implement HR plans and programs to meet business needs.
  • Identify key positions and guide leaders to put in place a strong internal and external talent pipeline and solutions and tools to hire and retain talent.
  • Support the efficient planning, delivery and evaluation of HR initiatives and deliverables. 
  • Support the design and implementation of effective organizational structures and roles.
  • Advise and support leaders and managers in managing labor relations constructively and within relevant legislation, regulations and organizational policies.
  • Drive the development of a culture that embraces change and promotes transparent communication, high performance and innovation.
  • Recognise and assist in the identification of training/development needs and the role out of these.
  • Understanding of the local market in relation to Remuneration & Benefits.
  • Demonstrate a commercial mindset in advice and building business cases.

     

    Your profile 

    To qualify for this position, you must have as a minimum, the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in HR covering a number of different HR areas including operations, recruitment, labor relations, training and development, talent management, performance management and employee engagement
  • Experience of delivering HR in a related business environment
  • Candidates with remuneration & benefits & talent experience will be highly regarded
