The Role

We are in the enviable position of being established in the south west of Sydney for 10 years with many brand name clients loyal to us.  With the ongoing development of this area we need to grow our team to keep up.  On a day to day basis you will:

  • Proactively reach out to prospective and lapsed clients to establish new business opportunities (B2B sales)
  • Organise face to face meetings with prospective and lapsed clients
  • Negotiate terms of business
  • Develop and maintain client relationships from acquiring new sales through to management of the ongoing relationship and service delivery
  • Manage the full lifecycle of new roles - advertise, phone screen, interview and place candidates to generate revenue

 

The person we’re looking for

We are really open to where you are coming from, whether you’re already an experienced recruitment consultant or still in your first year or two.  Or maybe you’re in a sales role, selling some inanimate object that doesn’t excite you.   Regardless, there are a few attributes you’ll need to succeed as a recruiter:

 

  • A positive mental attitude – we’re in the people business and that requires resilience
  • Emotional intelligence – ability to interact with a variety of people with empathy and self awareness
  • Persuasion & Negotiation skills – make clients want to buy from you
  • Team work – no one stands alone here, we collaborate for the benefit of the business and the team
  • Tenacity – you have a laser like focus to get the job done
  • Efficient –managing the various micro and macro tasks of your day will ensure your success.

In addition it is essential you have a full driving license and car - parking is provided.

We are open to you running a temporary placements or permanent placements desk, it all comes down to where your skills are best suited.
