Job Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner the Senior Human Resources Officer will focus on aligning Human Resource (HR) activities with the business. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running by providing professional and efficient HR support, to meet the needs of our 950+ employees and other stakeholders across the organisation.  This is a fast paced and varied full time role within the HR Operations team with a strong focus on delivering high quality HR generalist support and advise to internal stakeholders across recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, policy, rewards & remuneration, reporting and general HR projects.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role you will be required to address the following selection:

  • 5+ years in Human Resources generalist role
  • Tertiary equalisations in Human Resources or relevant discipline.
  • Proven knowledge of end to end recruitment processes
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, employment agreements and modern awards 
  • Track record in providing advice to managers and team leaders surrounding performance and human resources advice.
  • Understanding of reporting systems, ability to analysis data, wages reviews and human resources documentation, manage policies and procedures.
  • Ability to build and leverage on strong working relationships with key managers and stakeholders to provide quality service and outcomes.
