The Role
Honan Insurance Group is much more than a leading insurance group; we’re agile, focused on innovation and determined to partner with our customers and markets to provide new products and solutions. Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer, this key leadership position has 100% responsibility for Honan’s People & Culture function across our group.


Key accountabilities will include:

 

  • Design, implement and manage the Honan health and wellness program;
  • Lead the delivery and continuing enhancement of the Honan performance and rewards framework;
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and embed our core values and principles of behaviour;
  • Lead the implementation of a program to continuously improve employee engagement;
  • Lead and enhance the learning and development function designing career pathways;
  • Lead the strategic sourcing and recruiting function;
  • Ensure we remain compliant with relevant legislation and are prepared for future legislative change;
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to design and deliver change management programs;
  • Sponsor and deliver value generating projects;
  • Manage key vendor relationships; and
  • Participate as a member of the leadership team delivering value to the Honan growth strategy.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading People and Culture operations either in-house or as a specialist consultant. You will have a strong understanding of People and Culture core functions possessing a strategic mindset and capability to execute. You will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, demonstrating you can operate at the most senior level.
