Established in 2006, headspace is a well-recognised national not-for-profit organisation making a difference to the lives of young people aged 12-25 years. headspace enables young people and their families to access information and support through a national network of centres and services, and drives community awareness and education about youth mental health, early intervention and help seeking.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and engaging Education and Training professional to support excellence in the delivery of quality services for young people and their families. The Workforce Education and Training Consultant will work with our eheadspace program to develop online learning solutions and build the capability of the eheadspace workforce. You will analyse learning needs, design and deliver training and project manage to deliver this project.
Reporting to the Manager Workforce and Education, the role will work closely with both subject matter experts from eheadspace and management in order to re-design the eheadspace new starter orientation program. Using learning technologies, you will design online learning solutions for eheadspace using multiple modalities including video production, eLearning and face to face.
To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive experience in workforce education and training, adult learning, change management or a similar field. Strong project management skills will be an integral part of this role including budgeting, scheduling, monitoring and delivering in accordance with time and budget constraints. Naturally, you will be customer/relationship focused and your exceptional communication and problem solving skills will enable you to apply a coherent and logical structure to your work. You will also have highly developed skills in video production and editing and eLearning design and development.
