National transport company seeking a National Compliance Manager for their Head Office in Laverton North.
This role requires a “hands on” professional who can lead and drive Safety and Compliance strategies effectively at all levels of the business whilst being commercially minded.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Investigating workplace incidents.
- Implementing and managing changes to Chain of Responsibility in Transport.
- Conduct safety audits.
- Perform risk assessments on key tasks across the organisation.
- Perform other assignments or additional responsibilities as required.
- Develop and implement all policies, procedures and guidelines and that reflect currency of knowledge in relation to workplace health and safety.
- Maintenance of external company accreditations including; NHVAS, HACCP and ISO 9001.
- makes an active contribution to develop new standards and techniques that will provide direction and guidance to the employees on the same.
To be successful you will possess the following skills and experience
- Previous experience in similar role
- Procedural writing skills
- Both critical and analytical thinking capabilities
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external;
- Highly advanced written and verbal communication skills;
