Goldstar Transport is an established provider of Transport and Logistics solutions to a broad spectrum of industries, including FMCG, steel and mining in Western Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to assist our HSEQ Manager with the delivery of the Goldstar Transport Health and Safety strategy. This position is offered on a full-time basis, however 0.8FTE options will also be consdered.
The Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for the following:
- Maintain HSE databases and ensure files/systems are up to date
- Maintain tracking systems as required, and assist with the development and maintenance of registers, personnel training records, risk registers, documents and matrices
- Analysis and reporting of HSE specific information relating to scheduled events, unplanned events/incidents, audits, actions, inspections and observations
- Compilation of monthly reports and associated presentations, and provision of assistance to the HSE Manager with data control, integrity and moderation
- General involvement in HSE business activities, including assistance with document preparation, audit coordination, scheduled HSEQ meetings, toolbox topics, event alerts and presentations
- System administration and document controller duties and responsibilities for the Goldstar Safety Management System
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Certificate IV Work Health & Safety (essential)
- Transport and logistics experience (essential)
- Intermediate computer literacy - Microsoft office (essential)
- C class driver licence (essential)
- Injury management/return to work (desirable)
