Our client is a West Perth based Mining company with a significant project about to commence.

In preparation for this project, our client is now seeking to employ a HR/Mobilisation Officer to join the team on a 6 month fixed term.  There is potential for this role to go full time for the right candidate.

The project will see a large ramp up of new staff to the site and you'll be responsible for liaising with the recruitment team and on-boarding the new staff.  This will include booking flights, creating personnel files, ordering uniform and liaison with our site admin teams to co-ordinate accomodation as well as other tasks associated with welcoming new staff.  It is expected that the project will last for 6 months.

We recognise that mobilising new staff to site and generalist HR skills are not always sets of skills we find in one person.  However, should you have both sets of skills, this role may continue after the project as a HR generalist position.  The focus during the project however, will solely be on-boarding.

If you have been involved in on-boarding new staff in a project capacity previously, you'll know the type of skillset we're after:
  • Speedy but accurate
  • Friendly and welcoming
  • Able to keep a cool head in a sometimes stressful and often busy environment
  • Extremely well organised
  • Highly capable at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Brimming with personality and keen to share your knowledge
Ideally, you'll be able to join the Company within a short time frame however we also welcome applicants who are required to provide 4 weeks notice to their current employer.
