As one of the largest employers in the NT, our client who supply the electricity generation and retail services across the region are seeking HR Advisors for a minimum of 6 months to commence employment immediately.

Reporting directly to the Manager HR Operations you will primarily support the HR team on a large project in providing sound advice to key stakeholders on industrial relations and human resource management issues; lead negotiation processes for Enterprise Agreements and represent the organisation at necessary industrial tribunals.

The successful candidate will have:

• Heavy involvement in Employee relations and/or Industrial relations, including case management specifically around performance management
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Knowledge around the utilities industry (preferred but not essential)
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and training capabilities and drafting correspondence including letters and paper
• Some understanding/experience in government employment framework/legislation and/or contemporary IR practice (Preferred but not essential)
• Tertiary level qualification in human resources/industrial relations and/or relevant discipline or equivalent extensive experience.
• Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage workplace issues.
• Ability to coordinate and manage projects such as reward and recognition related events
• Proven ability to review existing policies/processes and implement required changes
