Spence Doors is a privately owned family business that has grown over its 67 years in business and operates manufacturing plants in five states in Australia.
With its Head Office based in Cheltenham, this newly created position will be responsible for the Human Resources function across all of its plants.
The role will include but not be limited to :
- Develop,implement and administer HR policies and practices that ensure compliance with relevant legislation,regulatory requirements,professional standards
- Training and Induction of employees and contractors
- Recruitment
- Environment Health and Safety
- Performance Reviews
- Compensation & Benefits
- Retention of key personnel
- Performance Management
It is anticipated that the successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience :
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environments & multiple sites
- Demonstrated experience in successfully introducing HR initiatives and change to an organisation
- Strong communication skills - both verbal & written
- Be flexible in your work methodology
- Effective people manager,collaboration and problem solving skills
