Proactively partnering with senior leaders across the Salmat Group and providing advice and guidance in all human resources areas. Deliver people services and initiatives that enable a constructive, high performance culture, drive commercial growth and deliver successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders as a trusted advisor to drive and progress commercial outcomes
- Ensure the People strategy is understood, adds value and is implemented in line with Salmat’s overall business plan
- Partner with the People team across all locations to deliver the People strategy
- Deliver support and guidance to stakeholders & employees on all People related topics including employee relations, performance management, job design, remuneration, employee development and succession planning
- Drive high performance and accountability for people initiatives / programs across the business
- Contribute to ongoing changes and effectively manage the impacts and outcomes of these
Key Criteria
- 10+ years’ relevant experience in a generalist human resources position
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
- Exposure to and knowledge of a diverse range of HR specialities including learning & development, remuneration, industrial relations, recruitment, succession planning, resource planning and change management
- Strong knowledge of current employment legislation
- Excellent problem solving and influencing skills, highly service oriented
- Strong planning and decision making skills
