Out long standing Government client located in Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Resourcing Advisor for a 6 month contract assignment. Reporting to the HR Services Manager, the role will be execute and support recruitment of the highest quality candidates to both the front-line business and head office roles. The successful candidate will have prior Government Recruitment experience and the ability to contribute to the effective development of the recruitment function to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.

Key accountabilities:

  • Implementation of end to end resourcing plans for allocated roles / role types / business units in partnership with business unit leaders and in consultation with People and Culture
  • Write and place professional and effective job advertisements to attract the right candidates
  • Apply a ‘candidate care’ approach when undertaking recruitment activity to ensure SNSW employer brand is maintained
  • Qualify candidate suitability for current or future vacancies through effective and best practice recruitment methodology, following applicable policy and guidelines
  • Match and deliver candidates to role vacancies within targets
  • Support resourcing activity to achieve metrics and KPI’s attached to the recruitment function
  • Support the development of infrastructure to enable the delivery of the correct number of suitable candidates within agreed timeframes through appropriate use of systems and resources
  • Manage redeployment and excess staff co-ordination as required under government policy

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in recruitment delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment within public sector context is not essential but will be highly regarded
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly complex environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource administration; knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of human resource management
