The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in recruitment and establishments matters as well as having high level interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the eRecruit and APS Jobs Systems as well as having highly proficient verbal and written communication skills are essential.
This role will provide you with the chance to coach and guide line managers and think strategically but also play a hands-on role in delivering tangible outcomes that have a flow on effect to the wider organisation. You will be motivated, positive in your approach and be able to collaborate effectively with senior management.
To be successful for short listing, you will possess:
- Extensive experience in Recruitment within the APS
- Experience in contributing to the development of policies, guidelines and procedures
- Ability to research and provide advice on human resource best practice covering recruitment, performance management, remuneration and learning and development
- Appropriate skills to prepare briefs for the Executive with relation to Recruitment Strategies including mobility strategies.
- Capacity to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
