Human Resources (HR) plays a vital role in supporting our organisation, and the breadth of our function is significant. Wealth Management brings together the Group's funds management and distribution capability as well as domestic insurance and financial advice business support divisions. You will be a strategic and proactive HR business partner in our Colonial First State (CFS) team.
Do work that matters
The purpose of this role is to provide outstanding service, high quality advice and solutions to help our customers build and maintain an effective workforce, performing at its best. You will act as an internal HR consultant and effectively partner with our CFS people leaders, HR team and HR Centres of Expertise (COE’s) to design and implement people plans and processes that:
- Respond to the evolving business contexts
- Drive measurable, people, customer and business outcomes
- Increase employee and business performance
- Engage and develop a superior workforce
You will be known by customers as a strategic business partner, who adds value through insightful and impactful advice and guidance.

- Collaborate well with others to ensure that the people agenda drives engagement, addresses challenges and provides a competitive advantage now and for the future
- Build credibility and trust with leaders as an advisor, who effectively gives quality advice and follows through on commitments
- Have strong influencing skills and the ability navigate through ambiguity
- Act as a ‘change agent’ in driving change and partners with the HR team and the business on key people change activities and transformation programs
- Drive communications and change plans to support the rollout of initiatives (HR or BU initiated) and increase the knowledge and understanding of people issues across the business
- Have proven experience in proactively coaching leaders and providing strategic guidance on people management issues and strategies (including embedding change, restructures, talent mobility and widespread capability building)
