Big Wave Digital is thrilled to be partnering with this International digital media and marketing insights group; and we are excited to be recruiting their next hire Digital Media Trader (Social) to work across the agency’s most prestige portfolio.

The role will support the wider performance marketing team and is focusing heavily on the implementation and analysis of paid social performance across consumer, business and brand campaigns. This position is one of the few around Australia and will be a major step in your online career.

Key functions of the role:

• Defining / creating digital Social strategies, implementing across various social platforms
• Ensure client digital goals are reached & that they see a full return on digital investment
• Taking full ownership of the end to end delivery of social campaigns, owning the campaign set up and execution, and running the team to ensure the service and the results exceed the client’s expectations
• Working closely with the Client Services team, you’ll need to analyse performance, generate insights and working with the search and display teams to deliver a rich and integrated service to your portfolio.

What you will need to be a success in this role:

• Previous experience (2-3+yrs) in an analytical social media planning/buying role, ideally within an agency environment
• Experience delivering technical information to staff, in easy to understand lingo
• A thorough understanding of the display space, including traditional reservation buys, RTB and Paid Social performance campaigns
• Experience of running social campaigns, developing strategies, optimising for performance, and developing and reporting back insights to clients.
• A bonus if you have experience running programmatic campaigns!
