Our Sport and Live Events team focuses on regional and local content for all our platforms, including TV, Radio and online.
About the Role
Are you a motivated and multi-skilled content creator? ABC Renmark is on the hunt for a Breakfast Producer to join their local team.
As Breakfast Producer, you will;
- Be a team player and collaborate to create content across platforms
- Identify and deliver regional stories to both the local and national audience
- Work across radio, online and social media
- Develop contacts and break stories
- Work in the field and from the studio as well as for other programs and platforms as required
About You
If you enjoy the chase, love telling local stories and are creative then this role is for you! You will be working as part of the highly successful ABC Riverland team in a collaborative way under the direction of the Chief of Staff. You will have a good knowledge of local, national and international issues.
As a self-starter you will:
- Have a record of developing contacts and breaking stories
- Be great at using and posting to social media and understand the needs of audiences in a multi-platform environment
- Possess a great news sense
- Have a collaborative and positive attitude to team work
- Be experienced working in a fast paced news/radio environment as a producer
- Need to be agile, know what's happening in the Riverland, and have a keen interest in local current affairs, business, culture and technology
