An exciting opportunity exists to join the high performing and dynamic PR and Production teams at Tennis Australia.
 
This freelance role will suit an experienced professional producer and start at one or two days a fortnight from July, building to full-time in December and during the Australian Open in January. 
 
With experience in producing both live and TV events, your spectacular organizational skills and attention-to-detail are rivaled only by your creativity and ability to produce engaging content and events. You have the contacts and ability to engage and liaise with talent at all levels, write scripts, key messages and briefing documents, work with the production team to develop video content and the functions teams on other event logistics. 
 
In this role you will work to bring to life a number of key projects for Australian Open 2019, including:

• AO Inspirational Series
• Australian Open launch events
• Anniversary and legends events and on-court shows and ceremonies
• Legends Lunch

Tertiary qualifications in media or a relevant degree are desirable, as is event production and/or TV production experience, along with the following skills, knowledge and attributes:

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to show initiative and work autonomously, with other team members and under pressure
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to communicate with diverse audiences, including talent
• Preparedness to be flexible with regard to working hours, particularly during peak operational times
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines (i.e., producing content that is consistent with the company or program brand)
• Proven critical thinker who makes appropriate decisions and finds solutions easily
• Pride in and ownership of their work, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion with very little supervision
• A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing multiple deliverables concurrently.
