Head Designer - Crown TV

Crown Melbourne is currently looking for a Head Designer to lead the multimedia requirements for Crown TV.
Reporting to the Studio Manager for Crown Resorts you will be responsible for the management and development of the Multimedia Production team and creating high level, engaging multimedia solutions where required in all respective areas and introducing new ideas for production solutions. We are seeking an individual that will bring creativity to the role while still respecting Crown Resorts tone of voice and brand guidelines.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead, motivate and manage Multimedia production team proactively to enhance individual capabilities and performance
- Oversee the planning and execution of timely shooting and editing of video footage for social media and related platforms, ensuring quality output
- Liaise with Stakeholders and Marketing teams to Interpret and deliver on multimedia requirements via the supplied brief
- Assist the Brand Managers to deliver strategies by developing and executing major multimedia projects as required and providing creative multimedia solutions
- Execute pre-production requirements for film shoots and events as required, including documentation, budgets, talent, accounts, workflow, equipment and crew sourcing
- Create visual media including but not limited to; Advertisements, Presentations, Motion graphic animations, Flash animation, 3D media and Audio recordings
To be considered for this role you will be required to demonstrate:
- A relevant degree or qualification in motion designs and/or video post-production
- Demonstrated experience in motion graphics and video post-production, with the ability to animate motion graphics.
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing and directing a team against projects timeframes and deadlines
- Demonstrated experience managing and influencing stakeholder expectations
- Branding experience and exposure to working within style guides
- Video filming and editing experience with non-linear footage and motion graphics
- A high level of proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro is essential
- Experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop & Mac operating systems
- Basic knowledge of modelling, texturing and animation in Cinema 4D highly regarded
- Working knowledge of Camera and Audio Equipment, particularly DSLR or a willingness to learn
