Digital Producer

Our Client is a hugely successful wholesale business with a proud heritage and expert knowledge in Apparel and fabrics. They are currently looking for an experienced Digital Producer to join their ever-growing Marketing team. The role predominantly is responsible for the planning, management and implementation of content projects administered by the Head of Digital.

You will source and publish digital content to meet the needs of all of the digital channels, including maintaining a content publishing calendar, source content to meet the needs of the calendar and publish digital channel content using the source material, using images, audio and copy as required.

In addition to this you will take the lead in ensuring web standards, including development, information architecture, design usability and accessibility, guide the development of web activities within the Department

You’ll use sophisticated project management skills and utilise your experience, knowledge and ideas for optimal project delivery.

Through documentation, requirements gathering and process optimisation you’ll enable improved delivery of briefing docs, scope of work, timing plans and ultimately digital project delivery. You will ensure that our projects are delivered both on time and on budget through your use of time lines, time tracking and resource management.

We want to see you staying abreast of emerging digital trends and new technologies and how these can be applied to new and existing platforms.

The Digital Producer is responsible for:

• Create detailed delivery plans in order to maximize the operational approach to each project
• Project schedule development
• Act as the liaison between suppliers, agencies and internal teams
• Research and analyse the feasibility of ideas to propose ways to make it commercially viable
• Extensive experience in creating social first content
• Excellent client interfacing skills and experience.
• Define the approach and scope of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule, and budget)
• Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes
• Ensure the delivery of all project deliverables on time, on budget and of the highest quality
• expectations
• Communicate project progress, issues and resolutions to the internal team
• Escalate issues in a timely manner to the Head of Digital

This position requires an applicant with skills in

• You have a background in managing diverse digital projects, including complex site builds and deployments. You’re able to gather, interpret and document business and user requirements and turn them into effective, strategies, site scopes and creative briefs.
• A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience of working in in digital production or project management in a client or agency environment.
• End-to-end digital production and project management skills and experience.
• Understanding and experience of multiple CMS and digital production platforms. In particular, experience in Wordpress, Drupal, and adapting to custom CMS systems would be highly desirable.
• Experience creating detailed project documentation, including: project scopes, functional specifications, design and development briefs, estimates and proposals.
• End-to-end digital production and project management skills and experience.
• The ability to work well and communicate with people of all levels, including Executive Management.
• A practical and commercial approach to work, that supports the delivery of projects to budget.
• Commercially aware, enthusiastic, service-oriented and thriving to develop relationships internally & externally.
• Strong attention to detail.
