Based in Noosa, with more than 25 years experience, we are one of the leading decorators, catering and floristry companies on the Coast, specialising in weddings and events. Our client list includes Australia's largest financial institutions, luxury brands, vehicle, pharmaceutical and telecommunications companies. As well as leading hotels and restaurants on the Sunshine Coast.

From meeting with brides, preparing bespoke proposals, briefing suppliers, designing floral requirements, composing menus, pricing and coordinating a ceremony on the day, this role is perfect for a stylish, confident, detailed oriented person.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Keeping up to date with current styling trends across all aspects of weddings and events;
  • Conducting consultations with brides and preparing detailed styling proposals that grow our business;
  • Managing and building supplier relationships;
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries across all aspects of the business;
  • Helping brides navigate their wedding days to be the perfect day they imagine;
  • Working on corporate events that can range from 12 people to 250+ at various locations throughout the Sunshine Coast; and
  • Being a styling guru by taking a clients' brief and theming it to exceed their expectations.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Event management, wedding styling and coordination experience;  
  • A warm, friendly personality with excellent customer service skills and ability to develop client relationships;
  • Strong organisational and office admin capabilities;
  • Ability to work effectively with venues and suppliers;
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards when it comes to execution;
  • Willing to 'get their hands dirty' on the job - setting up, packing down of weddings and events as needed; and
  • A high standard of grooming and personal appearance, can think outside the box and remains calm under pressure.
  • Their own car and driving licence; and
  • Most importantly...a genuine passion for weddings and events.

While this role is to initially backfill a maternity leave position, it may be made permanent for the right person after 12 months. 30 hours per week but some flexibility with working hours for school drop off/pick ups etc but must be able to work Saturdays. The right candidate can start asap.
