About the Company
Karlka Recruiting Group is working together with a highly reputable Government Department (located in Canberra),  to engage an ICT Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) as a contractor on an initial 2 month contract basis with extensions. 

About the Role
The successful contractor will be working within the ICT Security & Governance section to assist with and implement policies, strategies and assessments. They will be performing technical and business Risk and Threats analysts of ICT systems. 

Duties:

• Develop a variety of security documents including business and technical threat assessments
• Liaise with stakeholders 
• Adapt knowledge to emerging technology issues
• Research, analyse and report on risks and other matters as required  
• Investigate information and cyber security vulnerabilities

Skills/Experience

• Currently hold or have the ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance
• Relevant qualifications and certifications
• Previous experience in a similar position 
• Ability to write and develop a variety of documents within the field
• Knowledge of the Information Security Manual & Protective Security Framework
