We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to join our IT team based in our Store Support Office in North Geelong.  Later this year we will be moving to a brand new purpose built facility in Williams Landing in Melbourne with flexible support in the interim to work between Geelong and Melbourne hot desk offices.

About our Role

Reporting to Head of IT – Strategy & Planning, the Senior Enterprise Architect is responsible for partnering with Target IT to achieve delivery and organisation goals through oversight and influence of all proposed solutions and technology selections, ensuring decisions are fit-for-purpose; deliverable; value-for-money; and aligned to business priorities and the IT strategy and architectural direction. 

Other key responsibilities may include:

• Provide enterprise architecture direction and collateral through leadership, facilitation and engagement with all stakeholders. 
• Provide leadership, ensuring all proposed solutions are: fit-for-purpose and represent value for the investment, consistent with architecture principles, standards and patterns, and consistent with IT and business strategies 
• Central role in architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies, ensuring alignment to strategy and roadmap
• Provide architectural direction to all members of the architecture practice
• Develop architectural metrics and reports for the executive team, business and IT management
• IT operating model design and implementation
• Work closely with stakeholders on vendor and solution evaluation, through all phases of RFx , ensuring decisions are consistent with architecture governance
• Lead the Target vision, strategy and values within the team and across the organisation

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in IT Technology with strong experience as a Senior Enterprise Architect and demonstrable leadership and engagement capabilities.  Leading the design and adherence to the architecture operating model is essential as is IT strategy development, socialisation and implementation at an enterprise level, in a federated operating model along with experience in assessing solutions and vendors through stages of RFX, strong consulting and business stakeholder engagement capabilities and ability to convey complex, technical ideas to the understanding of a non-technical audience
