Join our growing office located in Homebush as a Junior Systems Engineer!
We specialize in the design & deployment of complex ICT Solutions based on Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, AWS, and Apple products. We are a national company in the construction phase of building a managed service platform and technology centre with an affiliation with a major Telco brand. The Head Office is located in Homebush. We will soon provide Installation, Support and Maintenance to businesses throughout Sydney and ultimately throughout Australia.
We require a College Graduate / Entry Level Technician / Engineer or All-round CLEVER IT person to become part of our NSW team.

In this position you will be responsible for the following:
- Service Request Ticket resolution, escalation, and proactive support
- Ticket resolution targets of "100% Same Day Closure" with detailed resolution documentation
- Delivery of high levels of customer satisfaction
- Documentation Management of customers IT environments and networks
- Ongoing training and certification on various vendors’ solutions
- Managing customers IT expectations via clear and concise communications
- Assisting customers with their understanding as to what is possible with technology to enhance their business processes
- Training and obtaining qualification as required
- Self-training and obtaining additional qualification to help increase your knowledge
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate MUST have:
- Neat presentation and excellent communication skills with clear and fluent written and verbal English is essential
- Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills
- A solid understanding and interest in computer networking with TCP/IP
- Solid knowledge of MSOffice is essential An ITIL Certification to at least Foundation Level
Desirable skills we are looking for, and will want you to work towards:
- Experience/Qualification in administration of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office 365 is an advantage
- Experience/Qualification in "Cloud" infrastructure and SaaS - Office365, Office365 Migration is an advantage
- Experience/Qualification in supporting Windows OS - Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and latest versions of Microsoft Office suites is an advantage
- Microsoft Certifications to MCSE level for Windows Server 2003, 2008R2, 2012R2 or 2016. SQL Server Microsoft Certification Transcripts is an advantage
- Experience working as a Systems Engineer / Backup & Storage Engineer in medium to large environments, excellent experience with the Veeam, StorageCraft, Zerto, Backupexec, Acronis backup applications are highly desirable
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks via Scripting is mandatory (Vscript/Powershell/Power CLI), Puppet, Python, Powershell is an advantage
- Experience in Network Engineering, LANs, WANs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches and WAPs and either Web Managed and/or CLI is an advantage
- Active Directory, Certificate Services, GPO, DNS, SCCM is an advantage
- SCCM design and automation skills is an advantage
- Knowledge across IaaS, BaaS, Symantec, CommVault, EMC, SAN, NAS and Azure Cloud technologies and Cloud Services such as MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc. is an advantage
- Security Experiences in Sophos, SonicWALL, CISCO Meraki, etc. is desirable
- Virtualization Skills with Hyper-V and VMware. VCP Certification highly desirable
- Apple Mac OSX and application installations and configuration. Jamf Pro, Casper Skills highly desirable
- Solarwinds (N-Central) , IT Glue, Project, Zendesk and MSP manager Tools Experiences highly desirable
- SAN Storage and infrastructure (Fibre Channel and iSCSI) is an advantage
- Experience in configuring mobile devices for apps and email accounts is an advantage
Personal Attributes:
- A self-motivated & enthusiastic College Graduate or Junior Technician / Engineer.
- Takes ownership for delivery of required outcomes.

- Current Driver’s license and own transport.
- Prepared for regular local travel.
- After hours and weekend work required at times.
- Possess full Rights to Work in Australia.
