About the role :
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic AV presales engineer, with a solid history in the design and documentation of AV systems, to join our growing Sydney office. Prior experience working within the AV space is a necessity for this role.
This role is to support our external sales team in the design and specification of integrated AV systems. You will be working across a variety of projects in the corporate, government and education sectors.
You must exhibit a high level of professionalism, proactive behaviour and great time/calendar management. You must also be passionate about providing the highest level of customer service. We will offer ongoing professional development and you will have an opportunity to work within a high performing team. Competency and demonstrated experience in the following areas is required to be successful in this role:
- Ability to conduct a customer facing AV needs analysis and site audit
- AV problem solving and troubleshooting
- Creating AV schematics and elevations (Microsoft Visio)
- Understanding of control systems and digital signal processing
- Understanding of video conferencing and collaboration technologies
- Understanding of basic networking
- AV system commissioning and base level programming (highly desirable)
- Outstanding customer service skills and communication
- Accountability and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Desire to quickly learn about the newest technologies in education and business
Salary for the position is negotiable depending on the technical and communication skills of the candidate.
