Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual Support - NSW Government Department


Key Accountabilities:
  • Assist with providing first point of contact technical support for Video Conferencing (VC) and Audio Visual (AV) equipment in accordance with department standards, policies and operating procedures. Supporting CISCO, Polycom, Skype for Business and PEXIP solutions. 
  • Provide professional, effective, knowledgeable and rapid Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual (AV) support 
  • Triage, resolve or escalate support calls within agreed timescales using IT Service Management principles and logging systems 
  • Provide support for the operation and maintenance of equipment on site.
  • Provide support for events including setting up and operating AV and Videoconferencing equipment. 
  • Assist with commissioning of new VC and AV installations.
Selection Criteria:
  • Proven extensive experience in providing rapid Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual support.
  • Strong customer focus, coupled with a strong task focus
  • Well-developed written and oral communications skills 
  • Demonstrated experience in working in enterprise IT environment, including working in ITIL environment.
  • Prior Government experience preferred (but not essential)
