Our client is a well-established, highly reputable consulting company with many contracting and permanent staff providing specialist IT services to the private and public sector.

They are currently seeking Project Schedulers to join their team on a permanent basis, and offer an attractive salary package.

You will also have the opportunity to grow in this role, with first class one-on-one mentoring from experienced consultants, or access to training and professional development in the project space.

As a Project Scheduler/Controller, you must be able to develop, maintain and report on schedule and cost within single or multi-project environments. 

Other duties include:

  • Development of Major Projects Schedules using Master Schedule Templates where available or developing from first principles where required
  • WBS and Data Dictionary development
  • Resource Levelling of Schedules
  • validating durations and Levels of Effort
  • Completing resourcing of Project Schedules
  • Project cost and schedule tracking
  • Presenting Schedule Views for Project Governance Boards
  • Train and support Client and staff in the scheduling processes

To be considered you will need:

  • Demonstrated high-level experience in using Project management Tools;
  • Open Plan Professional (OPP) Preferred
  • Excellent skills in MS Project and/or Primavera (minimum)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in project workshops, project meetings and project risk workshops as required
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills in an integrated and diverse working group environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively as part of a project team.
  • Minimum of 2 years project scheduling experience

Candidates must be Australian citizens to apply and hold a baseline security clearance. 

Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience, and ranges from $125k inc super, to $185k inc super for Master Schedulers.
