There is an opportunity for an experienced SEO Strategist to join a leading digital agency in Melbourne. The Opportunity

As the SEO Strategist, you will need to:

• Create data-driven SEO strategies

• Disseminate SEO strategies into production tasks

• Produce technical reports and documentation

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools

• Analyse problems and determine appropriate technical solutions

• Implement technical updates

You will also be part of a team where you will: 

• Participate in regular SEO strategy meetings

• Liaise with project managers, clients and other members of the organisation to determine appropriate SEO solutions

• Aid in technical queries from within and outside the department

• Provide mentoring to other search marketing professionals

• Collaborate within the team to improve products and services

About You

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a SEO specialist

• Expert level understanding of Rankbrain optimisation

• Expert level understanding of ex. Panda based optimisation

• Expert level understanding of ex. Penguin based optimisation

• High-level understanding of CRO, UX and IA methodologies

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS

• Understanding of PPC and other paid search marketing strategies

• Experience with PHP, SQL, and server-side technologies

• Proven history of successful SEO campaigns directly attributed to business growth

• Experience recovering from SEO penalties and poorly optimized domains
