Your new company
An Iconic Newcastle organization is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to drive the delivery of critical business outcomes in their IT Infrastructure. This award winning company has a reputation for putting their customers and the community at the forefront of everything they do.
Your new role
Working within the Projects Team you will contribute to the delivery of high profile projects whilst providing ongoing support of 24/7 mission-critical systems and underlying infrastructure
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Designing and building enterprise solutions.
- Supporting various IT environments.
- Server Administration, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, SCCM,
- Administration of automation tools and scripting.
- Basic Network Routing and Switching.
- Security Firewalls - various vendor technologies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant industry certifications or demonstrable equivalent knowledge (MCSA, MCSE, CCNA)
- Proven track record in the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade information systems and infrastructure.
- Experience with SAN Storage and infrastructure (Fibre Channel and iSCSI)
- Experience with virtual Windows Server systems
- Windows Application server support experience
- Self-direction and a strong customer focus
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
