We are currently seeking a Developer/Programmer on a minimum 12 month contract. This is with a possible chance of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience as Build, Release, DevOps Engineer in large complex environment
- 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services and / or Microsoft Azure
- Track record of high performance in Agile project environments
- Ability to write clearly and develop technical documentation Scripting and CI/CD tools
- PowerShell - Mandatory
- PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) - Desirable Platforms
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex Windows environment - Mandatory
- Demonstrated experience working in a Linux environment - Desirable Azure and AWS environment
- Microsoft Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and / or AWS CloudFormation - Mandatory
- Proficient in invoking cloud-based APIs, such as RESTful interfaces - Mandatory Automation and orchestration tools
- Experience with one of the following platforms: - Desirable - Microsoft Azure Automation - AWS OpsWorks Preferred: Source code management
- Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git, Apache Subversion (SVN) or Microsoft Team Foundation Server for Version Control (TFVC) - Desirable Networking and Security
- Knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Security, firewalls, encryption, identity and access management - Mandatory
- Understanding of cloud availability and scalability including load balancers and application gateways - Mandatory
