Experienced Front End Developer + Graphic Designer
Are you a creative front end developer who is also an experienced graphic designer? Are you looking for a change of scenery and want to work in a TV Production + Digital Content environment? If you have 7+ years of work experience and an amazing portfolio to show us then please send us samples of your work and tell us why you’d be perfect for this job.
Our company makes TV programs, games and video content. We need an experienced designer/developer to join our team and help our clients with their web and design needs.
Key Requirements are as follows:
- Website design and development
- Ongoing support for websites
- Website project management
- Brand development and logo design
Key Skills are as follows:
- Excellent creative and technical skills to design and build websites
- Thorough knowledge of Word Press, Adobe, HTML, CSS, JAVA + PHP
- Project management skills to liaise with back-end web developers
- Experience leading a client through the process of developing their visual brand identity, including logo design, web + document design.
- The ability to listen well to a client’s needs
- Great attention to detail is essential
- The temperament to work in a close-knit team
- Responsibility for a project to ensure it’s delivered on time.
- A good eye for design and the ability to come up with creative ways to design presentation documents using graphic elements
- The ability to manage workflow of various projects at one time
- Excellent inter-personal skills. You need to be able to liaise directly with clients in a professional and timely manner and also to interact well in a small office environment
- Tertiary Education in the creative arts
- 7+ Years employment designing logos and websites
- Experience operating your own successful design business would be considered favourably.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and portfolio
