- Experienced SQL Server DBA managing multiple large databases
- We work for you - 15% margin or less - full transparency - weekly pay cycle
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SQL Server DBA to provide operational support for production and non-production systems, on-premise and cloud.
You'll need to ...
- Provide expertise on SQL Server including:
- installing, configuring, patching, upgrade, managing, monitoring, etc.
- investigating incidents
- data extracts, reorgs, refreshes, backups, restores
- troubleshooting performance issues
- providing advice on data modelling
- Manage releases and changes
- Design/implement high availability, backup and DR strategies
- SELECT * FROM [AllThingsSqlServer]
It'd be great if you had ...
- SSIS, SSRS, SSAS experience
You might be called upon ...
- The position will be required to undertake 24/7 on-call activities or additional hours once every 3-6 weeks.
- No overtime, on-call, weekend penalty or after hours rates will apply.
- On-call will be paid at the standard hourly charge rate.
