The role

As the Portfolio Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the Program function within our Consumer business. Working closely alongside the Technology and Product teams, you’ll ensure the group vision and strategy translate into features and products that realise benefits and deliver value to our customers.

What you’ll do

• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a team of passionate Delivery Leads who are responsible for facilitating the delivery and execution of the carsales portfolio of work from ideation through to go-to-market.
• Implement adaptive governance and agile delivery principles, and support our Product and Technology teams towards their goal of delivering of customer value.
• Report through to the Executive Leadership Team to facilitate strategic business planning activities across the Consumer, Commercial and International lines of business.
• Work collaboratively with Product teams to drive prioritisation conversations across the business with a strong focus on value and ROI.
• Bridge technical and business worlds as you build strong and productive relationships with global stakeholders.
• Champion change management initiatives to drive cultural uplift or increased performance and capability.
• Workforce capacity planning across Business and Technology functions.
• Communicate at all levels of the organisation to drive alignment on the status of the group portfolio of work.

• An experienced agile delivery specialist who is commercially savvy and equipped with strong people leadership experience.
• A great listener and articulate communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships up, down and across the company.
• An inspiring, empathetic leader who the team knows they can count to provide a clear vision and a work environment that enables them to produce their very best work.
• A confident negotiator who is comfortable using their ability to influence to bring about positive change.
• An ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, whilst still paying attention to the tiniest of details.
• Someone who understands the intricate balance between getting the best result for our customers while ensuring teams are happy, productive and doing great work.
• A lover of all things tech - you find it rewarding to see new product concepts and features brought to life.
