Polyglot Group is recruiting an ICT Business Development Manager to manage technical sales and acquire customers.

Functions and tasks

• Puts technical knowledge to commercial use and prepares estimates and tenders in accordance with sales and pricing policy.
• Arranges the promotion and sales of specialised products and equipment of a technical nature.
• Provides technical information and advice regarding the nature and performance of the company's products.
• Handles and directs complaints to the appropriate department as to service, delivery and repairs.

Reporting:

• Reports to a Sales Manager, or when dealing with technical problems, may report to a Product Manager.
• May be a specialist operating alone, or working with a team of other sales representatives.

Qualification, skills and experience required

• At least five years of relevant experience or possesses a trade background appropriate to the product sold, together with necessary selling skills.
• Requires a perceptive mind and the ability to resolve problems associated with the product.
