The Company and Role

Kapital Consulting is assisting a data-inspired agency seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to join their team on a 3 month contract. The client offer their clients the opportunity to transform their marketing through a complete stack of services. They are seeking their ideal candidate within the Sydney region to join their global team of data scientists, tech experts and media specialists to delivery industry-leading creative solutions.

The chosen candidate needs to be able to:

• Effecively communicate conceptual/technical solutions surrounding the use of industry Drupal 8 standard best practices and techniques
• Develop code and provide maintenance/improvements to existing code
• Develop/test content management system (CMS) solutions including content entry, migration, developing, site architecture and page templates
• Develop PHP 5/7 code
• Develop custom code using PHP, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 for theme/module development

Key Skills

• Bachelor of Computer Science or 5 years of experience in front-end development
• Strong understanding of Drupal 8 in regard to architecture, database design, hooks, API’s, templating and RESTful API/Web Service frameworks
• Ability to create Drupal 8  custom themes, subthemes and module
• Familiar with developing with front end frameworks such as grunt, less, JQuery, Jslint
• Experience with modern CI/CD concepts, practices and toolkits
